If you have two days, this is the one. Over the Atlas, down the Draa valley through the longest palm grove in Morocco, and out to the dunes at Tinfou for a night in a camp. You will be back in Marrakech the following evening.

Over the Tizi n'Tichka, a stop at Aït Ben Haddou, lunch in Agdz, then the long green run down the Draa to the dunes. Camel ride at sunset, dinner and a night in the camp.

Zagora · Agdz · Ouarzazate · Marrakech
Sunrise over the sand, breakfast at the camp, then back up the valley with stops at Tamegroute's pottery kilns and Ouarzazate before the pass. Marrakech by evening.
