The Agafay is not sand — it is a sea of pale, wind-smoothed stone that rolls to the foot of the Atlas. We collect you in the late afternoon, cross the last of the palm groves, and arrive as the light turns the hills the colour of apricot skin. Dinner is served under lanterns, and the drive home is silent.
